Training Your Body to Sleep Left-Sided
If you do not usually sleep on your left side, it may feel awkward at first. You may also wonder how to get your body to stay in that position once you’re asleep, when you have little control of it. We’ve gathered a few tips to help.
One idea is to press a full body pillow against your back as you drift off. It should keep you from rolling over to your back or the right, but it may not stop you from rolling the other direction, off the bed or onto your partner! Instead, you can bend your knees slightly and sleep with a pillow between them. This can help to stop you from rolling either way.
